Black/African American

The Black/African American group is designed to support the success of Black and African American members of IAAP. The group will serve as a venue to facilitate support for professional development while maintaining a safe space for free expression.

Increasing representation for African American members of IAAP at all levels of membership and leadership will actively contribute positively to the greater IAAP community.

Tracey R. Poteat, CAP

Is the Executive Secretary and Corporate Secretary (appointed by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors) of Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc. (dba OHM Advisors), a regional firm focused on Advancing Communities. Tracey has over 30 years of experience as an Executive and Administrative Professional optimizing efficiency and productivity across environments and years of volunteer leadership within OHM

She is also an advocate, mentor, and trusted advisor for administrative professionals within the organization. Tracey has one adult son (Paris) and a Maltese dog (Smoky). In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, cooking, road trips, playing chess, and participating in various civic engagements.
